STUDY COMMITMENT

This is a full time connected learning course. You will need to attend approximately 20.8 hours of class, over 4 days a week, for 18 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 6.8 hours of other study per week.

You may also be required to complete approximately 6 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including revision, research and assessment preparation.

This is a Connected Learning course. Connected learning is when students learn with a teacher and other students via web conferencing technology as part of a virtual classroom.Teachers lead a virtual classroom where students from different locations access at the same time and typically include interactive exercises, which are an effective way of transferring knowledge and embedding skills.

If you enrol in this course you will be able to attend the class remotely, for example from your home or from any other location that is suitable to allow you to fully engage in learning without distraction. This will include being able to listen to audio, use your microphone to participate in discussion and to view content on your PC. Connected Learning is ideal for those people who are otherwise unable to attend their local campus for class based learning in their chosen course.

This course is currently scheduled on Monday and Tuesday from 9.00am to 2.00pm, Thursday and Friday from 9.00am to 1.00pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES

This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.
