Course Details

This qualification is suitable for autonomous individuals who identify and apply project management skills and knowledge in a wide variety of contexts. Job titles for these roles may include contracts officers, project administrators, quality officers and small business operators.

Individuals in these roles might be members of a project team, with no direct responsibility for overall project outcomes. Primarily, these roles would support wider project operations. They may use project tools and methodologies selectively to support organisational or business activities.

Licensing/Regulatory Information
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
Connected Classroom is just like a regular classroom, but teachers and students use the latest video conferencing technologies. Your teacher can be in one TAFE location, and you can join the class from another TAFE location using video conferencing equipment or a mobile device. You can also join in from a venue in a participating regional community. You will be able to see and talk to your teacher and other students as though they were in the room with you. You will also have access to support to meet your learning needs.

Students are expected to have at least two years? experience in a relevant work role and a current role where they can apply their learning at work. This experience provides existing skills, knowledge and understanding of the workplace that would not be available to students who are new entrants to the workforce. Further real work experiences provide opportunity to reflect on and support problem solving and adult learning principles.

Students will also be required to complete a project relative to their own work. This project will be the basis of assessment. Facilitation and coaching will be available to support students in applying theory learned to the initiation, execution, monitoring and review of their project implementation over 12 months.
Attendance is Thursday 5.00pm to 9.00pm, fortnightly by Connected Classroom in room AG.10 at TAFE NSW Griffith.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

This training is subsidised by the NSW Government, and as a result your fee is determined through Training Services NSW formal eligibility criteria. This criteria will determine your exact fee. Students who meet additional specified criteria, may be eligible for a concession fee or a fee exemption. In claiming the concession or exemption students will be required to supply the required evidence to support the claim in accord with the requirements of Smart and Skilled eligibility.

Payment Plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

To activate your eligibility you must pay the student fee component PRIOR to commencement of the learning activity.

Enrolments will open from 14 October 2019 for our February 2020 intake.
