Course Details

This qualification is suitable for autonomous individuals who identify and apply project management skills and knowledge in a wide variety of contexts. Job titles for these roles may include contracts officers, project administrators, quality officers and small business operators.

Individuals in these roles might be members of a project team, with no direct responsibility for overall project outcomes. Primarily, these roles would support wider project operations. They may use project tools and methodologies selectively to support organisational or business activities.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
You will need to video certain practical tasks so will need access to a digital video recording device and/or a digital camera and associated software to save and upload video and image files. Many mobile phones and smart phones include this technology.

Aside from having a Year 10 or equivalent, there are no formal entry requirements into this course. Pathways include the Certificate III in Business (BSB30115), or other relevant qualifications. Vocational experience in project management roles is also considered an advantage. To get best results you will be currently working on, or have recently completed, a major work or community project, however, this is not a requirement.

With this qualification you would be able to work as contracts officer, estimator and scheduler, or a project; administrator, analyst, assistant, coordinator, officer, records officer, support or team member. It is also relevant to quality officers and small business operators

This course will take around 22 hours a week of online study over 12 months, based on 36 weeks of participation. All resources for this course are online.
