This qualification is suitable for autonomous individuals who identify and apply project management skills and knowledge in a wide variety of contexts. Job titles for these roles may include contracts officers, project administrators, quality officers and small business operators.

Individuals in these roles might be members of a project team, with no direct responsibility for overall project outcomes. Primarily, these roles would support wider project operations. They may use project tools and methodologies selectively to support organisational or business activities.

**COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS**

To be enrolled in this course, students are expected to have at least two years? experience in a relevant work role. This experience provides existing skills, knowledge and understanding of the workplace that would not be available to students who are new entrants to the workforce. Further real work experiences provide opportunity to reflect on and support problem solving and adult learning principles.

To successfully complete this course, you will need access to the internet and a computer capable of processing data, accessing the internet and word processing.
Students are expected to have at least two years? experience in a relevant work role. If not in a current role and able to apply learning directly to work the student should discuss case study and scenario options with the facilitator prior to enrolment.

STUDY COMMITMENT

This is a flexible blended course. You will need to attend approximately 2.5 hours by webinar, over 1 day a week, for 36 weeks. As well as the webinar component, you will need to complete approximately 12.5 hours of other study per week.

You may also be required to complete approximately 9 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, private study, research and project preparation, workplace project implementation.

This course is currently scheduled on Wednesday from 6.00pm to 9.00pm via webinar. Additional tutorials, phone coaching and email access to your facilitator will be flexible to meet the needs of students.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES

This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.
