This qualification reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
As well as assuming responsibility for their own performance, individuals at this level provide leadership, guidance and support to others. They also have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of their team.
They apply solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.

- To have you completed year 12 (HSC) or equivalent or 1-2 years experience working as a part of a team.
- Access to a computer with reliable internet connection and have the skills to be able to use basic features of Microsoft office, such as, formatting documents, using templates, tables, spreadsheets and presentations.
- Good communication skills that will allow you to express your ideas both in writing and verbally as well as an ability to set and achieve work goals.

STUDY COMMITMENT
This course is delivered in a blended format. This means you will have scheduled workshops on selected Saturdays from 9am to 4pm and will work online outside of the workshops using our Learning Management System, Moodle. A typical timetable may include workshops on alternate Saturdays. Exact dates will be provided once the course starts. There will also be scheduled term breaks to enable you time to finalise assessment tasks and work on any outstanding items, as well as have a break. In total there are 15 workshops spread over from: March to end of October 2020.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.
