  • This course offering is designed for people who:

  • Have completed a relevant Certificate IV (business, leadership, human resources or similar) or at least 2-5 years of suitable work experience. You will be asked to provide a transcript and/or resume to verify suitability.

  • It is also important you have access to a computer with reliable internet connection and have the skills to be able to use all basic features of Microsoft office such as formatting documents, using templates, tables, spreadsheets and presentations. In addition you should have sound communication skills that will allow you to express your ideas both in writing and verbally as well as an ability to set and achieve work goals.

Units Units taught in this course

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Diploma of Business qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 12 units of competency, including 5 core and 7 speciality units.

Core units are central to the job outcomes of a particular industry or occupation. These are the units industry has agreed are essential to be capable and qualified at a particular study level.

Course delivery Combination study

Learn through a combination of classroom based, online and/or workplace activity. For example, you may participate in scheduled classroom activity, have an element of self-directed learning with online content, and/or receive supervised training while on the job, doing work experience, or on placement.

Classroom activity will be scheduled, but online learning can provide more flexibility. Teacher support will be provided for all study. Access to a computer with an internet connection is required.
