This qualification would apply to individuals with various job titles including administration managers, general office managers and office managers. Individuals in these roles may possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and/or the work of a team.

STUDY COMMITMENT
This is a full time course. You will need to attend approximately 12 hours of class, over 2 days a week, for 18 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 12.8 hours of other study per week.
You may also be required to complete approximately 10.1 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including private study, revision and assessment preparation.

This course offering is designed for people who:
- are existing workers already working either in business administration or office coordinator roles and are seeking to upskill and obtain a certification, so that they may secure employment in a more senior business administration support role, or to go on to study business, administration or leadership and management at higher levels
- are currently employed and have a good understanding of work place expectations and practices, along with some skills in communication and team work
- have a good working knowledge of computer applications for office environments
- are comfortable working with others, reporting to a supervisor and taking instruction/directions for how to complete a task
- have experience in working to timelines

This course is currently scheduled on Monday and Friday from 9.00am to 3.30pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.
SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

PAYMENT OPTIONS AND ASSISTANCE
This course is approved for a Commonwealth VET Student Loan (VSL). If you meet the VSL eligibility and academic suitability requirements, you are able to apply to the Commonwealth for a loan to cover all or part of your course fee. We will ask you whether you would like to apply for a VET Student Loan when you enrol and advise you of the process.
