  • Confident with technology and able to access and navigate the internet and use word processing and presentation software

Course content will be emailed to you and you will also have the opportunity to attend optional workshops if they are located near you. Your teacher will provide you with additional support electronically, over the phone, via email or face-to-face if you prefer. This program includes activities to be completed in your own time. Diploma of Leadership and Management will give you the skills and knowledge to develop operational plans to manage timelines and budgets. You will also develop your leadership skills in all aspects of people management, including how to tackle difficult conversations, develop and motivate your team and understand your own emotional intelligence and the impact on others.

Your teachers aim to help you understand the theory and apply it to the workplace using practical examples and hands-on tasks with regular feedback and guidance along the way. In this blended learning course you will undertake your learning and assessment through a combination of completing tasks in your own time and optional workshops on Friday's.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES

This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

PAYMENT OPTIONS AND ASSISTANCE

This course is approved for a Commonwealth VET Student Loan (VSL). If you meet the VSL eligibility and academic suitability requirements, you are able to apply to the Commonwealth for a loan to cover all or part of your course fee. We will ask you whether you would like to apply for a VET Student Loan when you enrol and advise you of the process.

A VET student loan may be available to eligible students to cover some or all of their course fees. More information will be made available closer to your enrolment.
