This qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan and carry out work in a legal context in accordance with legislation, regulations and codes of practice relevant to the different jurisdictions.

This course is approved for a Commonwealth VET Student Loan. If you meet the eligibility requirements, you are able to apply to the Commonwealth for a loan to cover all or part of your course fee. If you do apply for a VET Student Loan you will need to have your Tax File Number (TFN) handy. If you do not have a TFN you can apply for one through most Australia Post outlets, and obtain a Certificate of Application for a TFN. Once you receive your TFN from the Australian Tax Office (ATO) you must contact your college so they can arrange for you to enter it into your VET Student Loan application.

To find out more about the course, you may wish to attend one of our Information Sessions being held at TAFE NSW Granville, Building B, Room B.1.02 on Wednesday, 26 June 2019. Sessions are being held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm OR 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

It is strongly recommended that learners in this course have completed the Certificate IV in Legal Services and/or have had some experience in the Legal environment.
