This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

Time: 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm or 6 pm to 7 pm
Location: The Hills TAFE Baulkham Campus, 146-160 Old Northern Rd, Baulkham Hills, Building C, Ground Floor, Room 7 (CG.07)
This is a Part Time Evening Face to Face course. You will need to attend approximately 7.5 hours of class, for 2-3 days a week for 36 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 3.3 hours of other study per week.
You may also be required to complete approximately 16.9 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including structured prescribed reading, prescribed follow up activities and private study.

This course is currently scheduled on Monday and Wednesday from 6 pm to 9 pm and 9 Saturdays from 9 am to 3.30 pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.
SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

PAYMENT OPTIONS AND ASSISTANCE
This course is approved for a Commonwealth VET Student Loan (VSL). If you meet the VSL eligibility and academic suitability requirements, you are able to apply to the Commonwealth for a loan to cover all or part of your course fee. We will ask you whether you would like to apply for a VET Student Loan when you enrol and advise you of the process.

The Units of Study and associated fees for this course are detailed above. Fees are charged on the census day for each Unit of Study. To secure a loan for part or all of your course, you must be eligible and submit a valid application to the Commonwealth for a VET Student Loan.
