Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply in some States where cadastral and mining surveying must be undertaken under the supervision of a registered surveyor. Relevant state and territory regulatory authorities should be consulted to confirm those requirements.
This qualification is suitable for an Australian apprenticeship pathway.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to Sydney TAFE and the government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
The fee category that will apply to you depends on your eligibility and your individual circumstances. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

An USB data drive 'stick' for TAFE work, cost $10.00. It is recommended that a laptop / notebook computer (Windows / Dos) also be available as a resource for the course. Take home copies of CAD software will be provided for students. A calculator (similar to CASIO fx-100au) will be required to successfully complete this course and will cost approximately $20.00.
Recognition is a process of acknowledging previously completed qualifications, skills, knowledge or experience relevant to your course. This may reduce the amount of learning required, reduce your course fees and allow you to achieve your qualification faster.
