Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply in some States where cadastral and mining surveying must be undertaken under the supervision of a registered surveyor. Relevant state and territory regulatory authorities should be consulted to confirm those requirements.
This qualification is suitable for an Australian apprenticeship pathway.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

Students require a General Induction (White) Card prior to commencing study. There is a local study entry requirement: learners must have successfully completed the Certificate III in Surveying and Spatial Information or equivalent. Students must possess working skills in the use of surveying equipment, CAD and be able to solve mathematical problems at a year 12 2Unit extension level to be able to enter this course. Study is face to face full time (two days per week). There is no flexible/distance option.

A message for young people under 17 years of age-If you are under 17 years and wish to enrol you will need to have completed Year 10 or have special permission from school and TAFE to do so.
