Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply in some States where cadastral and mining surveying must be undertaken under the supervision of a registered surveyor. Relevant state and territory regulatory authorities should be consulted to confirm those requirements.

A HP Programable Calculator will be required to successfully complete this course cost is approximately $300 and a USB data drive 'stick' cost $10.00. It is recommended that a laptop / notebook computer also be available as a resource for the course. Take home copies of CAD software will be provided for students.
