Course Details

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are developing the basic creative and technical skills that underpin visual arts and craft practice in an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural arts context.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
This course is delivered face to face. Learners are all Indigenous students from the Western and New England area. Some will be studying to follow a career as a professional artist. Other options also include work in schools as artists in residence, gallery assistants, Indigenous arts tour guides and cultural arts workshop providers. This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are developing a range of art and craft skills in an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural arts context and who take responsibility for own outputs in work and learning. Students are required to purchase their own art materials, a suggested list will be given on the enrolment day.
This course will be delivered from 9am to 3pm at the Bathurst Campus

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.
