The Certificate II teaches the basic creative and technical skills underpinning a range of art techniques. Students will also develop skills in collecting and organising information on cultural arts and one's own Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage. Students throughout the course of their studies have the opportunity to collaborate on projects and see their work presented to their communities.

Students will be supplied materials in class but will need to supplement these with their own sketchbook and additional personal art materials.

A message for young people under 17 years of age - If you are under 17 years and wish to enrol you will need to have completed Year 10 or have special permission from school and TAFE NSW to do so.
