Application is Online, no previous knowledge required - from year 10.
Design for Film and Theatre is the focus of this offering of the CUA30715 Certificate III in Design Fundamentals. This intensive 6 month course provides a broad based integrated learning experience with an emphasis on design for live production including film, theatre and events. Learners will explore colour and media, drawing, computers for design, graphic design, film appreciation and camera techniques, presentation techniques, design research, introduction to film and video, SFX prosthetics and makeup with major projects exploring product/industrial design, architecture/interior design, set design, costume/fashion, textiles and illustration. Learners will have the benefit of being taught in a well-equipped design environment at the award winning Design Centre Enmore by industry professionals, working on fabulous and innovative projects such as VIVID Sydney 2017 and 2018, annual collaborations with IKEA and the Enmore Theatre and being a part of the much celebrated Sydney Mardi Gras parade.
