This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are developing a broad range of technical and conceptual design skills and who take responsibility for own outputs in work and learning. Practice at this level is underpinned by the application of introductory design theory and history.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
This course provides fundamental skills in a variety of creative areas including Graphic Design, Photography and Visual Arts. Students will be equipped to secure work in a junior capacity in these areas. Students are also able to articulate to higher level studies in these disciplines to gain further skills targeted to their individual area of interest in creative fields. The delivery allows students to select electives in the Screen and Media course.
Attendance is 2.5 days per week; Monday 9:00am - 12:00pm, Tuesday and Wednesdays 9:00am till 3:00pm. If you cannot commit to this schedule please contact the teaching section to arrange for a part time offering.
