Practice at this level is predominately digital. It is underpinned by the application of integrated technical, theoretical and historical knowledge of photo imaging and the ability to develop concepts and solutions in response to a brief.
Practitioners may work in a range of industry contexts, including retail, commercial, domestic portrait, media, wedding, illustrative, institutional and art photography.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
As a condition of entry into this course we ask that all students have access to a digital camera and a computer or laptop with appropriate software required to complete the assessment events.
Your teacher will outline the software specifications within the first week of class.
If you do not have this access, the sections college computers with appropriate software are available for use during class time and between 9 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday.
The Library computers are also available to enrolled students between 8.30 am ? 7 pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and from 8.30 am - 6 pm on Thursday.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.
