Course Details

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who analyse, design and execute judgements using wide-ranging technical, creative, conceptual or managerial competencies in the film, television, radio and interactive media industries. Their knowledge base may be specialised or broad. These individuals are often accountable for group outcomes.

FILM and TV Production is the focus of this Diploma of Screen and Media

This Advanced Diploma is designed for people who have completed the Diploma of Screen and Media focused on Film & Television Production, or have equivalent knowledge and experience. You will grow your skills and knowledge in directing, cinematography, camera operation, editing, colour grading, visual FX, screen writing, lighting, sound recording, casting and overall producing.

This course provides a pathway into university level study. If you are going to start late, please email huseyin.turem@tafensw.edu.au.

In addtion to attending classes you can expect to do 8 to 20 hours per week outside of class, depending on a range of factors such as previous experience. This may include online work, creative development, shooting and editing your films.
