Course Details

This qualification reflects the job roles of employees with functions that could include financial data entry, processing accounts and payrolls, providing customer service in financial transactions, and producing financial reports. Individuals in these roles apply knowledge and skills to demonstrate autonomy and judgement and to take limited responsibility in known situations under general supervision.

Depending upon each student's existing skillset and experience a further 11 hours per week of additional directed and self-directed study off campus may be required. A message for young people under 17 years of age - If you are under 17 years and wish to enrol you will need to have completed Year 10 or have special permission from school and TAFE NSW to do so.
The course will be delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm in B Block, Classroom B1.11 at TAFE NSW's Grafton Campus starting Tuesday, 23 July 2019. The course requires attendance for 6 hours per week for 2 semesters.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

Costs associated with work experience and field trips such as food, transport and accommodation are at the students own expense.

Students will need to provide their own calculator and general stationery, (ie, pen, pencil, eraser, highlighters and stapler), including an A4 ring binder/dividers and plastic sleeves for handouts. A USB storage device or access to a cloud storage account will also be required for document storage.
