This is a full time day course. You will need to attend approximately 21 hours of class, over 3 days a week, for 18 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 10.1 hours of other study per week.
You may also be required to complete approximately 4.4 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including private study, assignment preparation, research and assessment preparation.

This course offering is designed for people who:
are career starters and/or new entrants for people interested in a career in the Accounting/Bookkeeping sector
would like to gain employment as a bookkeeper, BAS agent and/or payroll officer, across a diverse range of industry sectors, for example, Superannuation, Local Government, Business Administration, Financial Services, Accounting and Bookkeeping
would like to develop real skills in applying accounting principles and use specialised knowledge relevant in the application of spreadsheets and accounting software (e.g MYOB - Account Right 2018.3)

This course is currently scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9.00am to 4.30pm. Option to attend evening classes for computing units on Wednesday and Thursdays. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.
SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

You will need to provide for yourself the following resources which you will keep when you complete your study:
- a calculator: $10 approx
- a USB and general stationery items: $20.00 approx
Your workbooks will be provided by TAFE NSW and your required textbooks will be available in campus libraries throughout your course.
