Course Details

This qualification is designed for individuals who require further foundation skills development to prepare for workforce entry or vocational training pathways.

This qualification is suitable for individuals who require:
- A pathway to employment or vocational training
- Reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication and learning skills at Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 3
- Entry level digital literacy and employability skills
- A vocational training and employment plan.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

It is assumed that you have literacy and numeracy at Certificate I level for success in this course. Contact your TAFE NSW campus if you have any questions about your suitability.
One successful completion of this qualification, you will have achieved your year 10 equivalency. Attendance is compulsory. The course includes opportunities for you to plan future work and training pathways. Generally, you will undertake your learning and assessment in a classroom at Dubbo Myall St TAFE Campus in C block room 16, though flexible delivery options can be arranged in consultation with the Head Teacher. This program includes activities which are to be completed in your own time.
Classes are held at Dubbo Myall St TAFE campus in C Block room 16 on weekdays from 9:30am until 3:00pm, including breaks
