The Bachelor of Applied Commerce is a three year degree that prepares graduates for employment in the financial services sector. The course has been designed with input from the financial services industry ensuring that students are well placed to find jobs after graduation. You can choose either an accounting major, a financial planning major, or a double major. Subjects in management, marketing, law, economics and business statistics are included in both majors to ensure you have the full range of knowledge and skills required to work effectively in the fast paced financial services industry. On completion of the Bachelor of Applied Commerce, graduates will be eligible to apply for membership with CPA, CA ANZ, TPB and FPA. This three year professional degree is made for people who want to work in the financial services sector. It has been developed with Industry input to allow students to complete a major in either accounting or financial planning.
The Bachelor of Applied Commerce requires you to complete 24 subjects and a total of 240 credit points.
There is an internship component in year 3. You will need to complete 60 hours of work placement.

Proposed attendance: Mondays and Tuesdays from 5:30pm to 9:30pm, 8 hours per week for six years.
Domestic student tuition fees are calculated at $1,280.00 per subject. Tuition fee payable will vary depending on whether you are studying Full-time or Part-time. Students must successfully complete 24 subjects. You will be required to purchase textbooks approximately $500.00.
International student tuition fees are subject to the TAFE NSW Australia course fee structure.

FEE-HELP is available to eligible higher education students for the payment of tuition fees.
