ENROLLING IN FIRST AID UNITS OF COMPETENCY
If you are seeking to enrol in a First Aid unit of competency you are advised that to complete the unit you must be able to perform basic life support skills, for example control bleeding and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). If you have a disability that would prevent you from performing required basic life support skills you are advised that you will not be able to achieve the unit of competency.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.
SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to Sydney TAFE and the government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
The fee category that will apply to you depends on your eligibility and your individual circumstances. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

You are required to attend a pre-enrolment assessment session on Wednesday 22nd May 2019 OR Wednesday 19th June 2019 @ 4.30pm. The address: TAFE NSW St George Campus, TAFE NSW - St George Campus Room CG5, Cnr of President Ave & Princes Hwy Kogarah. During this session, you will complete a literacy and numeracy assessment, meet with the teaching staff and receive more information about the course. Selection of successful applicants will be made after review of the literacy and numeracy test. All applicants will be notified of the outcome.
