The nationally recognised Certificate IV in Massage Therapy will provide you with the skills to conduct range of massage techniques that could promote wellbeing, improve sleep, treat anxiety and tension and enhance a range of body functions such as circulation.

This is a full time blended course. You will need to attend approximately 17.9 hours of class, over 3 days a week, for 18 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 8 hours of other study per week.
You may also be required to complete approximately 7.8 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including research, private study and assignment preparation.

Students enrolling in this qualification may be new entrants to the massage industry, looking to change careers or articulate into a career as a Massage Therapist. Students will be required to give and receive massages from both males and females in the course group.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

You will be required to bring your own towels (bath sheets) for practical sessions. You will also be required to purchase a $25 book pack for the first aid unit of study.
