This training is subsidised by the NSW government under Smart and Skilled. The student fee you will need to pay, will be determined according to your personal circumstances and eligibility for a subsidised place, you may also be eligible for a concession fee, fee exemption or fee free scholarship. Payment by instalments is available.

HLT47315 - Certificate IV in Health Administration qualification will require the completion of work place assessment task(s) in a relevant work place setting for the following units listed below:
? HLTWHS003 Maintain work health and safety
? HLTINF003-Implement and monitor infection prevention and control policies and procedures
There are few units in a qualification that will require the completion of practical tasks either in a real workplace and/or in a practical workshop. The procurement of work placement & other work placement resources, information, remains the responsibility of the student. You will need to ensure that whatever facility you organise for completing the practical requirements of this course, there is a qualified workplace Supervisor available to assist you and signoff on the completed practical tasks. You may be required to attend one day practical workshop in order to cover the practical requirements of the few course units.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who work in a senior operational or team leading role in the health industry.

A medical practice assistant may work under the supervision of a health care professional other than a medical practitioner, but this should only occur where:
- the health care professional is in the same practice as the medical practitioner and
- the medical practitioner has agreed to the other health care professional providing the supervision

A registered nurse must accept or refuse responsibility for supervision of an activity of a medical practice assistant, according to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) Decision-making framework. An enrolled nurse cannot provide supervision.
