    • at least 500GB HDD external storage
    • a large monitor or 2 smaller monitors – if possible
    • backup device like a USB 3.0 HDD
    • a reliable fast unlimited internet connection
    • web camera, headset and microphone
    • a space for study where the student can concentrate away from too many distractions

  • This course offering is designed for people who:

  • Before starting the Certificate IV in Information Technology ICT40120, we recommend students complete the Certificate III IT course to build up their study and technical skills in workplace communications, protocols, documentation, technical writing, cyber security, networking, operating systems, hardware and office applications.

  • This is a high-level IT course with a focus on CISCO networking and technical support. It is the pathway to the Diploma IT Networking.

Units Units taught in this course

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate IV in Information Technology (Networking) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 20 units of competency, including 7 core and 13 speciality units.
