This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent to design, develop and use digital media technologies as an assistant information and communications technology (ICT) specialist working independently or as part of a larger development team

This course focuses on Digital Media including: 2D & 3D Models and Animation, Graphic Design, Digital Video Editing, Digital Audio Production, Website Design, Managing a Project and Professional Skills to work in the Digital Media industry.

Upon successful completion of this qualification, you may be eligible for course credit to study the following qualifications:
ICT50915 Diploma of Digital Media Technologies.

Requirements to successfully complete this qualification include:
Access and use of a computer and a internet connection (at TAFE NSW or home).

Required Equipment, includes:
* USB or Portable Hard drive
* Pen and Paper.

While there are no formal entry requirements for this course, it is suggested that learners with no previous experience in digital media should first complete the CUA31015 - Certificate III in Screen and Media (with a focus on Games Design and Digital Media) at TAFE NSW Mt Druitt prior to attempting this course.
Proposed Attendance: 3 days per week over 18 weeks from 9:30am to 4:00pm at TAFE NSW Mt Druitt. Further details will be provide on enrolment or at course information sessions.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

A fee applies for most TAFE NSW courses and must be paid when you enrol. The amount you pay depends on the type of course you study, and on your personal circumstances. An initial payment of $80 is required to confirm your enrolment into this course. If you do not wish to continue with your enrolment, you must formally advise Customer Service of your withdrawal.
