Assessments give you the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learnt and to identify the knowledge or skills that may need further development.
Knowledge assessments such as understanding recorded texts, understanding live texts and research projects
Practical skills assessments such as producing and delivering Auslan text and participating in Auslan exchanges
Work placement provides you with opportunities to respond to situations and circumstances that cannot be replicated in a learning or simulated environment. Work placement strengthens your training and supports continued learning and assessment in the workplace.

You will be required to attend a Saturday workshop once per term.
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate II in Auslan qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 3 Units of competency, including 3 core and 0 speciality units.
