Course Details
This course trains students to:
- supervise the systems through which materials are typically selected, acquired and stored on site for projects described by the Building Code of Australia (BCA) as low rise building or construction work (low rise' licensing classification with reference to Class 1 and 10 construction and Class 2 to 9 with a gross floor area not exceeding 2000 square metres, not including Type A or Type B construction).
- conduct a WHS risk analysis, including the inspection of workplaces for hazards and implementation of control measures.

STUDY COMMITMENT
This is a online course. You will need to complete approximately 4 hours of online study, each week, for your enrolment duration of 12 weeks.
You can increase the hours of online study per week to complete the course sooner.
You may also be required to complete approximately 3 hours of additional study each week outside of online study hours, including internet research in preparation for assignments, practical of skills, review topic test from teachers, industry research and job analysis.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.
