WORK EXPERIENCE

Work experience is not mandatory for this qualification, however this is a highly practical course. To get the most out of your study, expand your network and get real world experience, we strongly recommend you undertake 72 hours of work experience with a suitable industry employer.

You will need to organise your own work experience. If you can't secure work experience, you'll need to complete 72 hours of clinic work in an on-campus, TAFE NSW simulated environment. This will happen during your normal class time on a day nominated by your teacher.

Whether you are enrolled full-time or part-time, it is recommended that you start your work placement one week from your course start date.
