  • To be enrolled in this course, you need to be able to provide evidence that you can demonstrate practical components of the course either in a real pharmacy work environment or in a simulated pharmacy environment. Learners will need a USB and a recording device (mobile phone).

  • To successfully complete this course, work placement is not compulsory however is highly recommended in a pharmacy.

Units Units taught in this course

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Community Pharmacy qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 19 units of competency , including 11 core and 8 speciality units.

Core units are central to the job outcomes of a particular industry or occupation. These are the units industry has agreed are essential to be capable and qualified at a particular study level.

Course delivery Combination study

Learn through a combination of classroom based, online and/or workplace activity. For example, you may participate in scheduled classroom activity, have an element of self-directed learning with online content, and/or receive supervised training while on the job, doing work experience, or on placement.

Classroom activity will be scheduled, but online learning can provide more flexibility. Teacher support will be provided for all study. Access to a computer with an internet connection is required.

Bathurst

Located on Panorama Avenue, TAFE NSW Bathurst has a wide range of practical courses available that are aimed at training and placing students into suitable positions in the local workforce. Courses include bricklaying, children's services, communication, media, design, digital media, fitness, human resources management, refrigeration, air conditioning and welfare courses.
