  • There are no entry requirements for this qualification. TAFE NSW also offers the Certificate III in Community Pharmacy as a traineeship. To be eligible to enrol as a trainee you must be employed in a Communuity Pharmacy and have a signed traineeship contract.

Units Units taught in this course

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Community Pharmacy qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 19 units of competency , including 11 core and 8 speciality units.

Core units are central to the job outcomes of a particular industry or occupation. These are the units industry has agreed are essential to be capable and qualified at a particular study level.

Course delivery Virtual classroom, on campus

You will attend a TAFE NSW campus or Connected Learning Centre to connect with your teachers and other students in a virtual classroom where you will participate in learning activities via video or web conferencing technology. Much like a regular class, you will have scheduled times of attendance. Depending on what you are studying, your course may also include some online units or practice training though our network of Mobile Training Units.
