This qualification provides a pathway to work as a commercial cook in organisations such as restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs, cafs, and coffee shops.
No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience your fee may decrease from the maximum shown.
Payment by instalment may also be available. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.
SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion (capped at $2,000) of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
The fee category that will apply to you depends on your eligibility and your individual circumstances. Your fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.
You may be eligible for the Fee Free Apprenticeship which will be verified at enrolment.

An information session will be held on Monday 24th June from 6:00pm-7:00pm at Ryde TAFE, Main Campus, 250 Blaxland Road, Ryde, Building A, level 5, Auditorium.
Drop in session between 9am & 4pm, 24th June - 28th June in Building A level 5a Baking offices
During this time we will answer all of the questions you may have regarding enrolments and delivery of the commercial cookery courses.
