This qualification (or the skill sets derived from units of competency within it) is also suitable preparation for those engaged in the delivery of training and assessment of competence in a workplace context, as a component of a structured VET program.
The volume of learning of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is typically six months to two years.
Achievement of this qualification by trainers is a requirement of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015.

Face to face delivery - Learners are to attend training sessions with their trainer on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5.00pm. Learners will also be required to participate in Adobe Connect Classroom sessions for two hours per week.
Please Note you are enrolling in an upgrade from TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification. You must provide a certified copy of your TAE40110 transcript and certificate before classes commence.
To enrol in this upgrade Learners must hold the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110 and hold the units TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools and TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills. Learners must produce a certified copy of their TAE40110 transcript which lists the units including the TAEAS502 and TAELLN411.
The Commonwealth requires all VET students to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI), and access to government subsidised courses depends on this. Information regarding USI and instructions on how to get your USI are available here www.usi.gov.au. When you have it, keep it with your other personal details so you will have it at enrolment.
