Course Details

This is a qualification for those engaged in logistics operations in the Transport and Logistics Industry in a variety of operational roles.

It involves a broad range of skilled applications including requirements to evaluate and analyse current practices, to develop new criteria and procedures for performing current practices, and to provide leadership and guidance to others in applying skills and planning skill development.

Successful achievement of the licensing units within the qualification must align with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.

INFORMATION SESSIONS

There are no information sessions currently scheduled for this course.

STUDY COMMITMENT

This is a part time day blended course. You will need to attend approximately 12 hours of class, over 2 days a week, for 36 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 6.5 hours of other study per week.

You may also be required to complete approximately 4 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including self-directed reading and research.

Attendance will be Face to face on Tuesdays. Students will have teacher access on Mondays via electronic means (online chat/meeting room) so that completion of Structured learning can be assisted.

The Monday sessions will not commence until the second week of delivery.

Be assured, we'll keep you informed every step of the way.

This course is currently scheduled on Monday and Tuesday from 8.30am to 3.00pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.

SMART AND SKILLED FEES

This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.

Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.
