This is a qualification for those engaged in logistics operations in the Transport and Logistics Industry in a variety of operational roles.
It involves a broad range of skilled applications including requirements to evaluate and analyse current practices, to develop new criteria and procedures for performing current practices, and to provide leadership and guidance to others in applying skills and planning skill development.
Successful achievement of the licensing units within the qualification must align with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.

This is a Part-Time Evening, connected learning with MS Teams course. You will need to attend approximately 6 hours of class, over 2 days a week, for 27 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 2 hours of other study per week.
You may also be required to complete approximately 2.7 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including research, warehousing references and magazines, industry shows, etc.
Following popular and successful delivery of this course using connected learning with MS Teams during Semester 1, the course will again be delivered by this method in Semester 2. Details and links will be forwarded to students in advance. As restrictions ease, the way you attend your class may change. Be assured we will keep you informed every step of the way.

If work placement and the demonstration of practical skills are requirements of your course, due to the impacts of COVID 19 there may be a delay or modification in being able to undertake these aspects of your course in the planned timeframe. This course is currently scheduled on Monday and Wednesday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.
SMART AND SKILLED FEES
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process. Payment plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.
