To complete this course, the following materials are required:

  • You will need to provide for yourself the following resources which you will keep when you complete your study:

    • Stationery: scientific calculator, pens, pencils, drawing instruments, A4 ruled notebooks.
    • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety glasses, hearing protection, safety boots, appropriate work clothing, AS/NZS 3000:2018, AS/NZS 3008.1.1:2017.

    • signed up with an Apprentice Network Provider and have a Training Plan Proposal
    • seeking to gain skills and knowledge to become a qualified Electrotechnology Electrician after successful completion

Units Units taught in this course

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 1110 weighting points, including 990 core and 120 speciality units.

Core units are central to the job outcomes of a particular industry or occupation. These are the units industry has agreed are essential to be capable and qualified at a particular study level.
