In this course, you will develop skills and knowledge relating to working safely
on portable/hand held electrical equipment; using the portable appliance tester;
testing electrical equipment as per Australian Standard AS/NZS 3760.
This course is designed for eligible people who want to undertake the testing,
tagging and reporting of portable/ hand held low voltage electrical equipment
using a portable appliance tester (PAT). These competencies are in addition to
competencies already gained in the relevant field to which the electrical work
is incidental or a primary and regular function of the work.
This course is superseded. You can still enrol in this course, and you will be contacted if you need to transition into the next version when it is available.

This is a part time face to face course. You will need to attend approximately 16 hours of class, for 2 days.

This course is currently scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.
This training is not subsidised by Government funding. There are no fee exemptions, concessions or subsidies available for this course.
Payment of course fee must be made PRIOR to commencement of learning activity.
All equipment and resources required, will be provided for the students.
