Course Details

This qualification reflects the role of barbers who use a range of well-developed sales, consultation and technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of barbering services to clients. They use discretion and judgement to provide client services and take responsibility for the outcomes of their own work.

This qualification provides a pathway to work as a barber in any industry environment, usually a barber shop or salon.

No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

There are no Concessions or Exemptions of the course fee. All participants are required to pay the full course fee, or if being funded by an organisation, provide a suitable purchase order. Installment plans are available.

Fast Track Barbering is for individuals who do not wish to undertake a three year apprenticeship, but still wish to be a barber. This course covers all aspects of hairdressing to the trade level, and is designed to provide you with the vocational skills required to work as a barber.

You may be required to attend an interview before course commencement.
