Nicole from Riverina TAFE completed the Certificate III Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle) and won the Special Award for a Woman in a Non-Traditional Trade Vocation at the 2015 NSW Training Awards.
Nicole is undertaking an apprenticeship in Auto Electrical, having already qualified as a mechanic. Her interest in becoming a motor mechanic started at the age of 16.
Her employer, Brad Loiterton's Auto Electrics in Cootamundra, praises her willingness to learn, and capacity to apply her knowledge to practical tasks to a very high standard.As a single parent to her young son, Dennis.
