Daniel Winson, Information Technology

Dan Winson Teacher ICT Technology Riverina Institute

Daniel has 13 years' experience across various technical and business roles in both small and large organisations, including 6 years of running his own business.

In 2010, he became a full time Information Technology teacher and he continues to undertake a wide range of industry based projects to maintain his knowledge and skills.

In 2012, Daniel was the recipient of the Staff Award for Excellence in Innovation and has also been awarded the NSW Premier's TAFE Teacher Scholarship which allowed him to complete a five week study tour of vocational education and training providers in California. Daniel was also a finalist in the VET Trainer/Teacher of the Year category of the 2014 NSW Training Awards.

Daniel is dedicated to ensuring that his students achieve the best possible outcomes and is committed to assisting in the successful completion of their qualification. In addition to traditional teaching methods, he also utilises various social media channels in order to increase engagement inside and outside the classroom.
