Assessments
Assessments let you show what you've learned and check what you may need to work on.
Knowledge assessments: multiple choice questions, short answer and extended response questions on accounting theory
Skills assessments: Creating reports and accounting documents including using computerised accounting and payroll systems and traditional bookkeeping methods
Simulated workplace assessments: scenario-based problem solving including the use of policies and procedures, sample documents and case studies
Practical skills assessments: demonstrations under observation, role-play scenarios
Work placement
Work placement gives you real experience and develops your skills.

Units
Units taught in this course
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 13 units of competency, including 10 core and 3 speciality units.
