This course is currently scheduled for 2 evenings a week. An individual training plan will be provided when you enrol in this course. Your plan will outline the recommended study timetable and detail your units and assessments.
Assessments give you the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learnt and to identify the knowledge or skills that may need further development.
Written assessments: short answer, multiple choice
Skills assessments: research reports, design projects
Practical assessments: coordination tests, project design
Work placement provides you with opportunities to respond to situations and circumstances that cannot be replicated in a learning or simulated environment. Work placement strengthens your training and supports continued learning and assessment in the workplace.

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services (Operations) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 15 Units of competency, including 10 core and 5 speciality units.
Core units are central to the job outcomes of a particular industry or occupation. These are the units industry has agreed are essential to be capable and qualified at a particular study level.
