Assessments
Assessments let you show what you've learned and check what you may need to work on.
Knowledge assessments: short answer, extended response, research tasks and multiple-choice questions.
Practical skills assessments: demonstrations under observation, projects and case studies.
Simulated and workplace projects: scenario-based problem solving.

Units taught in this course
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate IV in Community Services qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 15 units of competency, including 7 core and 8 speciality units.

Studying on Campus
Learn in person, on a TAFE NSW campus. Depending on your course, your classroom could include purpose-built spaces like art studios, mechanical workshops, laboratories or bakeries. When you study on campus, you will receive a timetable of when you need to be on campus to attend.
