    • Successful completion of the Certificate III in Information Technology (Networking) during the last Five years, as evidenced by a copy of your certificate or transcript

    • Three years' work experience in information technology, as evidenced by your resume and signed letter from your employers

    Units taught in this course

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate IV in Cyber Security qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 16 units of competency, including 8 core and 8 speciality units.

    Course delivery

    Combination study

    Learn through a combination of on-campus classroom, virtual classroom, online, and/or workplace activity. For example, you may participate in scheduled face-to-face or virtual classroom activity, have an element of self-directed learning with online content, and/or receive supervised training while on the job, doing work experience, or on placement.

    Classroom activity will be scheduled, but online learning can provide more flexibility. Teacher support will be provided for all study. Access to a computer with an internet connection is required.
