Sandy Smith Memorial Scholarship
The Sandy Smith Memorial Scholarship has been established by the Rotary Club of Mudgee Sunrise to honour the memory of Sandy Smith.
A member of the Rotary Club of Mudgee Sunrise, and a highly respected and valued teacher at TAFE NSW Mudgee, Sandy was dedicated to supporting students achieve their goals.
Valued at $500, the Sandy Smith Memorial Scholarship will carry on Sandy’s vision of helping TAFE NSW students to succeed and fulfill their career dreams through education.

Closing date: 5pm, Friday 21 June 2024
- You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- living in the Mid-Western Regional Council LGA.
- Meet all of the applicable TAFE NSW enrolment requirements and be currently enrolled in a course delivered by TAFE NSW at the time of applying for and receiving the Sandy Smith Memorial Scholarship.
- Demonstrates commitment to the course of study and career goals
The selection committee will comprise of TAFE NSW representatives. They will be looking for your ability to:
- Demonstrate how the scholarship funds will be used to support study and future career ambitions
- Demonstrate commitment to the course of study and career goals
