The Industry Accelerator is part of the broader TAFE NSW workforce capability and stability strategy, funded through the National Skills Agreement.
What is the Industry Accelerator program?
The Industry Accelerator – Teachers to Industry program is an initiative designed to deepen partnerships and connections between TAFE NSW teachers and industry. By placing TAFE NSW teachers in short industry placements, educators gain first-hand insight into contemporary workplaces to bring back to the classroom, keeping training relevant and aligned with industry.
As an industry partner, you can:
- help shape industry-relevant training
- build stronger connections with TAFE NSW
- showcase your organization to educators and future workers
- contribute to a more skilled, work-ready workforce
How does the program work?
Industry partners host a TAFE NSW teacher in their workplace, typically for 10 days.
During the placement, teachers can observe day-to-day operations, engage with your people and build their understanding of current practices, technologies, skills and workforce needs.
We’ll work with you to shape a placement that suits your organisation.
