    Apply now for the Quota Club of Lismore Inc. TAFE NSW Scholarship

    The Quota Club of Lismore Scholarship supports students who are committed to their career goals but are experiencing educational or financial disadvantage.

    Funded by the Quota Club of Lismore, a service group dedicated to supporting the local community, this scholarship provides $500 to assist with study costs.

    Eligible students must be enrolled at one of the following TAFE NSW campuses:

    • Ballina
    • Casino
    • Lismore
    • Wollongbar.

    Who can apply

    To be eligible for the Quota Club of Lismore Scholarship, you must meet all the following criteria:

    1. Enrolment & Location
      • Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen living in NSW.
      • Be actively enrolled in an accredited VET course (Certificate II to Diploma level) at TAFE NSW in Semester 1, 2026.
      • Be studying at one of the following campuses:
        • Ballina
        • Casino
        • Lismore
        • Wollongbar.
    2. Financial & Educational Disadvantage
      You must demonstrate financial or educational disadvantage. Examples include:
      • Identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
      • Living with a disability or long-term medical condition
      • Being long-term unemployed (>6 months) and seeking workforce entry
      • Experiencing low socio-economic status or receiving Centrelink payments
      • Being a young person at risk
      • Experiencing (or having experienced) domestic or family violence
      • Having carer responsibilities or barriers to childcare
      • Recovering from addiction
      • Living in a rural/remote area or facing transport barriers.
    3. Exclusions & Conditions
      • You must not have previously received this scholarship.
      • You must not currently hold any other TAFE NSW scholarship, grant, or bursary.
      • You cannot defer your commencement date.
