    Are you a dedicated TAFE NSW student residing in the Mid-Western Region Local Government Area?

    The Sandy Smith Memorial Scholarship honours the legacy of Sandy Smith, a highly respected teacher at TAFE NSW Mudgee and member of the Rotary Club of Mudgee.

    Sandy was passionate about education and dedicated her career to helping students achieve their goals. To continue her commitment to TAFE NSW values, one scholarship valued at $500 will be awarded to a deserving student.

    Who can apply?

    To apply for the Sandy Smith Memorial Scholarship, you must:

    1. Residency & Enrolment
      • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
      • Reside within the Mid-Western Regional Local Government Area (including Mudgee, Gulgong, Kandos, and Rylstone).
      • Be currently enrolled in a course at TAFE NSW and meet all applicable enrolment requirements.
    2. Application Requirements
      Your application must:
      • Explain how the scholarship funds will be used to support your study and career goals.
      • Demonstrate a strong commitment to your education (e.g., by listing your achievements, outlining an action plan, or identifying your key skills and strengths).
